Speedy Alphabet Soup Mix

Makes 1-pint jar, about 4 to 5 servings

• 1 1/4 cups uncooked alphabet pasta
• 2 tablespoons dried vegetable flakes
• 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
• 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 cup oyster crackers

To make the mix;

Layer 3/4 cup of pasta, vegetable flakes, bouillon granules, pepper and remaining 1/2 cup of pasta in a 1-pint glass jar. Place crackers into a plastic bag and attach on top of the jar.

To make the soup:

Place 4 cups of water, 1/2 cup of pasta sauce, and soup mix into a large sauce pan. Bring to boil over high heat and reduce and simmer for 20 minutes, uncovered, until the alphabets and vegetables are tender. Serve with crackers.
